Level 1 - Foundation Certificate in Wines (link opens new window)   Cost: £140

The next Level 1 Foundation Courses will be held on Saturdays 9th October and 6th November from  9.00am to 5.00pm at Matthew Clark/Constellation HQ, Whitchurch Lane, Bristol, BS14 0JZ.

The training is a single day induction course covering the basics of wine and wine service, with most emphasis on tasting technique and food and wine matching. The structure is designed to give confidence to those less experienced in a hospitality or retail team, to help them in recommending types and styles of wines.  Customers appreciate being served by knowledgeable staff who have the confidence to suggest a suitable choice or recommend a more expensive wine, so why not take advantage of this local opportunity to attend the Foundation course. The day finishes with a food and wine matching exercise and a multiple choice exam.
