Events

Within our region we organise regular wine tastings and dinners. One of the highlights of the year is our Annual Luncheon. This event is held in early February and as a member the occasion gives you a prestigious forum from which to entertain your customers or meet up with friends and colleagues.

In support of its educational function the West of England Wine and Spirit Association organises trips to the wine and spirit producing countries of the world. In the past, parties of members have visited the Caribbean, Spain, South Africa, Australia, Uruguay, Brazil, New Zealand, Tuscany, Mexico and California as well as the classic wine regions such as Bordeaux. These study tours offer a fun way to learn first-hand about wine and make new friends in the process.

This year we visited the Lebanon and the Douro in Portugal.
